"Caring for the folks you care about"

Brief description of the organization, year founded, purpose, history and background?

Robinson Adult Day Service (RADS) is an organization that strives for excellence and perfection in the adult day care line of work. Our purpose is to provide a variety of services that will increase the quality of life for adults that are physically and cognitively impaired, socially isolated, in need of personal care and persons needing assistance to function independently in the community.

RADS incorporated on February 15, 2005, by the State of Indiana. Brigitte Robinson-Porter and Chris Robinson-Peterson who after working over 20 years in corporate America, social, health services industry and the concerns of their own mother’s future care, felt that there was a tremendous need for better care for adults that were disabled and not employable. This became the principal reason for the Robinson sisters to start their own adult service in Lake County, Indiana. Also, the opportunity to create a business that offered affordable, better care to the aging and disabled was reflected even more in their enthusiasm to begin Robinson Adult Day Services.
